<document><![CDATA[NCsoft, headquartered in Korea, was established in Samsung-dong, Seoul in March 1997. Its first product, Lineage, released in September 1998, helped the online game industry in Korea explode into the huge market it is today. NCsoft has taken its success with Lineage around the globe, opening offices in the US, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Japan. These offices, either joint ventures or NCsoft satellite offices, provide service, marketing and support functions for Lineage and other products available in each market. The Korean office serves as NCsoftΓÇÖs corporate headquarters and continues to service NCsoftΓÇÖs Korean online game products.

In addition to developing and servicing its own online games like Lineage and Lineage II, NCsoft also publishes games developed in studios both home and abroad. There are several titles currently under development that will be published by NCsoft in each market the company has a presence in.
